Following my recent residency at the Sir Jackie Stewart Classic, held at Thirlstane Castle, I headed off to Glamis Castle for the 46th Scottish Transport Extravaganza. Both events were blessed with good weather and my Fine Art Live Motorsport project resulted in good sales.
At Thirlstane I got to work amidst the superb collection of Jackie Stewart's Formula1 cars, with sales of my pictures and prints contributing to his charity, Race Against Dementia. I also created a series of bespoke framed prints, signed by Sir Jackie, to be presented to the event's sponsors.
At Glamis my residency working with Morris Leslie Ltd (Europe's biggest dealer in Earthmoving Equipment, and with a huge collection of classic cars) proved popular, and I performed live painting and drawing demos throughout the event.
