My enthusiasm for architecture and the built environment was realised in successive Edinburgh Festival exhibitions with Lloyds Banking Group.  There I worked on a series of paintings and drawings featuring my favourite buildings and the dramatic skyline of Scotland's capital city.

With their strong tonal contrasts and expressionist colour my cityscape pictures have been compared with those of the 20th century English artist John Piper. Other influences include Turner and Piranesi.
